<p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';"><span id="more-528"></span></span></p>
<p><strong>Please email resumes to president@gtacm.org. If you are interested in a leadership position but don’t feel like any of the below are a good fit, please email us with a position description of your own in addition to your resume for consideration.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The deadline for submissions is </strong><strong>Friday November 19</strong><strong>th</strong><strong>. Upon initial selection, final placement will depend on a casual interview.</strong></p>
<p><strong>VP positions are responsible for reporting directly to the president.</strong></p>
<p><strong>VP Public Relations (PR) Summary</strong>:</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Advertise all events organized by the main ACM body through traditional means (fliers, posters, cards, etc.) and through ACM mailing lists</p>
<p>2.	Work with school/departmental communications staff to disseminate information through major‐related mailing lists</p>
<p>3.	Update ACM social media tools and website content</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Have familiarity with social media tools</p>
<p>2.	Possess professional communication skills</p>
<p>3.	Able to lead others and recruit a team</p>
<p>4.	Previous marketing/PR experience or existing campus connections is a plus</p>
<p><strong>VP Internal Services (IS) Summary</strong>:</p>
<p>The VP Internal is responsible for keeping meeting notes, event specific information, and task delegations during weekly meetings and various corporate sessions. The VP Internal Services must keep track of weekly deliverables and assist officers who have difficulty in completing deliverables. This position is not a management position of other VPs.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Maintain weekly meeting minutes and deliverables</p>
<p>2.	Keep up with other officers’ deliverables throughout the week</p>
<p>3.	Keep formal record of ACM events on JacketPages and internal ACM wiki</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Possess professional communication skills</p>
<p>2.	Can cooperate with others and is a team player</p>
<p>3.	Can keep up with weekly happenings on a timely manner</p>
<p>4.	Must have a laptop or netbook</p>
<p>5.	Familiarity with wiki is a plus, but willingness to learn is a must</p>
<p><strong>Chair positions are responsible for reporting to their respective VP(s).</strong></p>
<p><strong>Social Chair Summary</strong>:</p>
<p>Working under the VP Membership, the Social Chair helps suggest and organize campus social events for general members and the campus as a whole.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Help organize monthly general members meeting</p>
<p>2.	Assist the VP Logistics with room reservation and food acquisition</p>
<p>3.	Assist the VP Public Relations in advertising specific social events</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Have creativity in event ideas 2.	Must possess energy and enthusiasm and be able to communicate to students well</p>
<p><strong>Purchasing Chair Summary</strong>:</p>
<p>Working under the VP Finance, the Purchasing Chair is in charge of purchasing any event materials (including food, t‐shirts, office supplies, etc). This person facilitates reimbursement and P‐card process.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Work with Bernadette Sconyers (bernadette.sconyers@vpss.gatech.edu) for P‐card uses. (Transition will be made about details.)</p>
<p>2.	Approve purchase requests and develop an organized purchase request process</p>
<p>3.	File all receipts and forms to keep up with financial accountability with the Treasurer</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Is well organized/will not lose things</p>
<p>2.	Has excellent communication skills</p>
<p>3.	Prior experience and knowledge with reimbursement is a plus</p>
<p><strong>Creative Chair Summary</strong>:</p>
<p>Working under the VP PR, the Creative Chair is responsible for designing and publishing original material, including but not limited to, ACM logos, t‐shirts, marketing material, etc. This person works closely with the Treasurer for financial purposes.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Provide content and designs upon request/work on a (flexible) deadline. 2.	Develop design request forms and keep track of them for accountability purposes 3.	T‐shirts, ACM logo, business cards are the first tasks you will need to complete.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>1.	Has artistic creativity and originality</p>
<p>2.	Well organized</p>
<p>3.	Strong familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.</p>
